The daily operation of our organization requires the combined efforts of volunteers, WEP workers completing hours for their public assistance benefits, and minimal paid staff. If you are looking for an opportunity to serve, please consider volunteering. Volunteers can serve in many different areas of Community Helping Hands. Opportunities include:
- Interviewing and ministering to those in need of services
- Driving our truck to pick up furniture
- Cashier in the Depot or Showroom
- Office/Receptionist help
- Working in the Cafe or Skate Park
- Spending an hour praying for the work and workers of Community Helping Hands
- Sorting clothing & household donations
- Teaching sewing classes
- Become a “Social Media Ambassador”: promote our social media posts
- Take photos at events and fundraisers
- Mentoring and discipleship opportunities
- Using your passions and skills to… (We will work with you and find a place for your talents.)
- Individuals are also needed to serve on our Board of Directors
